cousin is the amorphous creative practice of Vietnamese-American artist CC Doan (b. Saigon). Her work emphasizes both the symbolic and the insignificant. Through ceramic, craft, and digital media, memory and story live on as souvenirs, keepsakes, gifts. Her work oscillates between “form and malfunction”—delighting in unexpected transformation and discoveries along the way. CC is also the founder/curator of Two Two, a concept shop for emerging fashion & craft in Oakland, California.
